Rheinmetall Denel Munition honours fallen colleagues

Cape Town: Rheinmetall Denel Munition (RDM) today hosted a memorial service for those who died in the incident at its Somerset West facility on 3 September.

The memorial honoured Nico Angelo Samuels, Stevon Robert Isaacs, Mxolisi Sigadla, Bradley Tandy, Jamie Lesley Haydricks, Jason Hartzenberg, Triston Lance Davids, and Thandolwethu Mankayi.
“Thousands of people from our surrounding community attended the event today and we are so grateful that we were all able to honour our dedicated colleagues in this way. It was an incredibly moving memorial event,” said RDM CEO, Norbert Schulze.

In addition to prayer, choral songs and musical performances, the families shared memories of their loved ones.
