Kenya says security forces kill five coastal attack suspects

Kenyan security forces have killed five people suspected of involvement in attacks this week along the coast that killed about 65 people, the Interior Ministry said.

“Five suspected attackers shot dead while escaping, three AK 47 guns and several ammunitions recovered,” the ministry said on its Twitter feed, adding that the incident took place in Lamu County, where the attacks took place.
