At least five Sudanese migrants were shot dead along Egypt’s border with Israel on Monday, security sources said.
It was not immediately clear who shot the migrants in North Sinai, the epicentre of an Islamist militant insurgency.
A further 11 migrants were wounded by what the security sources said were gunmen.
Egyptian police had found the bodies of 15 African migrants on Nov. 15 who appeared to have been shot dead, security sources said at the time.
They said another eight migrants had been wounded in the Nov. 15 attack. It was not clear who had attacked the migrants or which countries they originated from.
