Countries that buy from Streit Group will eventually become part of its CSR programme, which looks to uplift communities through a national interest factor.

Streit Group has taken the initiative to perform its corporate social responsibility towards communities in socio-culturally affected areas. Streit Group is one of the largest armoured car manufacturers, with most of the military and commercial armoured vehicles in production for deprived and affected markets in Africa and the Middle East.

While saving lives of soldiers in war zones and making countries’ defences stronger with its robust products, Streit Group has launched some internal CSR programmes as part of its vision that will be incorporated into Streit’s values and mission.

The idea is to make more quality vehicles by investing more in R&D, which satisfies not only the customers, but also the employees with healthy and safe working environment.

The CSR part of this plan of action will emphasise labour and human rights within an organisation; health and safety; supporting local communities; gender and nationality based impartiality; and education and food by contributing from the company’s profits. The countries that buy from Streit Group will eventually become part of this CSR programme, which looks to uplift the communities through a national interest factor and helping the community of that country.

For more than 24 years, Streit Group has operated in the armoured vehicle manufacturing industry. It has 12 state-of-the-art production facilities and 25 offices around the world. The company produces a vast range of armoured personnel carriers, cash-in-transit, luxury and personal protection vehicles, which are designed to provide effective protection in high-risk situations, and a production facility of more than 2 000 000 square feet, in a built-up area, and over 2 000 employees.
