Angola will host on July 30 the Second Symposium of the Commanders of Navy or Coast Guard of the Community of Portuguese-speaking Countries (CPLP), ANGOP reports.
During the meeting, participants and delegates will address maritime issues with specialists from the participating countries.
The first symposium took place on July 2-3, 2008 in Lisbon, and aimed to promote dialogue, enhance cooperation and share organizational experiences between the navies that use the same language, strengthening the friendship ties that connect them.
CPLP countries are Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, Portugal, Sao Tome and Principe, and East Timor.
