The Director of Serbia’s Military Intelligence Agency has paid a visit to his counterpart within the South African Army as part of a recent working visit.
Serbian Brigadier General Zoran Stojkovic and three accompanying officials, Lieutenant Colonel Bojan Velickovic, Lieutenant Colonel IJA Hattingh and Mr Dorde Paviovic, arrived on a working visit to South Africa last week.
The delegation is being hosted by General Officer Commanding SA Army Intelligence Formation, Brigadier General RE Mercuur.
The South African National Defence Force (SANDF) said the delegation was flown from Air Force Base Waterkloof to the School of Tactical Intelligence in Potchefstroom on 7 February. They were accompanied by two members of Defence Intelligence, Brigadier General ME Gcaza and Major PT Rabyang.
The delegation had the opportunity to experience a static display of Tactical Intelligence Systems. The day concluded with lunch and an exchange of gifts between Mercuur and Stojkovic and accompanying officials.
