Defence and Military Veterans Minister Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula has recovered from COVID-19 a Cabinet statement today said.
The Minister’s husband, Charles, a former defence minister and currently security advisor to President Cyril Ramaphosa, has also recovered.
According to the statement both “tested positive recently and are still in self-isolation. We are glad all their symptoms have cleared and we look forward to them finishing 14 days of mandatory self-quarantine”.
Both worked from home and personnel in the Minister’s private office were also tested for signs of the virus.
