The South African National Defence Force in February 2010 had 2035 soldiers, airmen, sailors and medics deployed on four peace missions in Africa. In addition, it had some troops deployed along the Zimbabwe border at Musina (Operation Intexo). The numbers deployed will increase as Operation Corona gets underway.
