In SANDF news, the SANDF rotates its Democratic Republic of Congo deployment, it’s the end of the runway for Hercules 403, a South African Air Force helicopter squadrons top the Sword of Peace recipient list, the Military Ombud is to be part of the Cuban COVID-19 drug investigation, the Second Project Hotel Survey Motor Boat is launched in Cape Town, the Deputy President heads up a high level military veterans team, progress with the Defence Works Formation is reported to an oversight committee and the National State of Disaster will determine the fate of Armed Forces Day 2021.

In industry news, the Aerospace and Defence Trade Show at Lanseria will be in March and Rheinmetall Denel Munition is supplying the South African National Defence Force with new 40 mm medium velocity ammunition.
