The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) recently notified Congress of a possible foreign military sale to Jordan of 1808 JAVELIN Anti-Tank Guided Missiles, worth approximately $388 million.
The US could sell Jordan up to 1808 Javelin in a deal worth $ 388 million.
DSCA this week notified the US congress of the possible sale, media reports.
Included in the package are 18 Fly-to-Buy Missiles, 162 JAVELIN Command Launch Units (CLUs) with Integrated Day/Thermal Sight and associated parts, equipment, training, contractor, engineering, enhanced basic skills trainer (EPBST) and US Government logistical support, which will improve Jordan’s capability to meet regional, and future threats and strengthen homeland defence in the Middle East.
The proposed sale of this equipment and support will not alter the basic military balance in the region.
