Imperial scores R4.3m tank tranporter maintenance deal

The MAN Truck & Bus Centre in Johannesburg, part of the Imperial Group, has been awarded two contracts worth R4.3 million to maintain and repair the South African Army’s fleet of MAN 40-440 tank transporter vehicles.

The two contracts were awarded last week and follow a third, for R877 192 awarded October 6 and another, for R1 million, inked in March. The deals, as well as others, for the support of MAN vehicle product systems in service with the South African military, total R27 794 398 since May 2008.
