R12.1m for shooting ranges

3759

The South African National Defence Force is spending just over R12.1 million on two new indoor shooting ranges, the maintenance and repair of several more as well as the acquisition of a new rifle shooting training system.

The military will spend about R9 million on new facilities and the remainder on maintenance ad repair. The new indoor ranges are to be constructed in Durban and Pretoria. It is not immediately clear where the new rifle shooting training system, a fixed installation, will be installed.
