Mr P J Groenewald (FF Plus) to ask the Minister of Defence and Military Veterans:†
(1)(a) How many members of the SA National Defence Force (SANDF) were absent from work because of unfinished disciplinary hearings
(i) in the (aa) 2009-10 and (bb) 2010-11 financial years and (ii) during the period 1 April 2011 up to the latest specified date for which information is available, (b) in each specified year, how many (i) members of each rank were absent from work and (ii) days was each one of them absent and (c) what costs did the loss in working days amount to.
RESPONSE
The Ministry of Defence and Military Veterans is still compiling details regarding this question and will respond in due course once all the appropriate information had been collected and canvassed with the relevant stakeholders.
