Vehere, a global technology solutions provider for homeland, defence and cyber security, is now expanding its footprint into the African market by establishing an office in Cape Town, South Africa.

Vehere’s office in Cape Town adds to the company’s expanding global footprint, with offices in Washington D.C., Singapore, New Delhi and a Global R&D Development Centre in Kolkata, India.

Established in 2006, Vehere specializes in state-of-the-art communications and cyber intelligence capabilities in the broad communications spectrum and mission control against advanced cyber threats and data breaches. The company has been amongst the fastest growing technology firms since 2012.

Vehere has an established base of competitive technologies. Backed by more than a decade of experience as a trusted solutions provider to governments, defence and national security agencies across the countries that the company operates in, Vehere feels it is possible to expand into other regions and territories, and sees great opportunities in the African and Middle Eastern markets.

The office in Cape Town will be run by Leon Labuschagne, who will act as the Regional Sales Director for Africa and Middle East. Speaking to defenceWeb, Leon said “I see great potential for Vehere offering its advanced security and monitoring products in the African market. There is a growing demand in the cyber security space and Vehere can also offer highly competitive solutions for the government sector”.

Vehere has already signed up agents in different parts of Africa, and will work through established resellers on the continent.
