Mozambique economy to grow 7.5 pct in 2012-minister

Mozambique Finance Minister Manuel Chang forecast the country’s economy would grow 7.5 percent in 2012 from a projected 7.4 percent in 2011.

In a briefing late on Tuesday, Chang said the southern African country would also cut its budget deficit to 15.5 percent of gross domestic product from 16.8 percent due to an expected rise in revenues, Reuters reports.
