Milkor is planning to penetrate the South East Pacific market by attending and showcasing its increasingly diversified range of products at Land Forces 2018, held in Adelaide from 4-6 September.
Traditionally known as a grenade launcher specialist, Milkor is officially launching its new capabilities that include unmanned aerial vehicles, both manned and unmanned boats, armoured vehicles as well as cyber security solutions at the African Aerospace and Defence (AAD) Expo between 19 and 23 September at AFB Waterkloof. However, the company will be giving a sneak-peak of its expanded line-up to the Australasian population as well as the visitors of the tradeshow.
Having been in the industry for over 37 years, being the original manufacturer of the 40mm Multiple Grenade Launcher, Milkor is a well-known global brand. “Being known for our tough and reliable products, there is no doubt our new offerings will be of the highest quality with exceptional value-for-money,” said Tyron Lafferty, Marketing Manager: Middle East & Asia for Milkor.
The UAS and patrol boat utilised together would be a perfect solution for the current issues the Australian government is faced with in regard to their Great Barrier Reef as well as illegal immigration through their waters, Milkor said. “Combining Milkor’s capabilities in surveillance, defence and reconnaissance, they would be able to eliminate these problems.”
Milkor will be at stand 4Q9 in Hall 4 at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
Land Forces 2018 is an international industry exposition designed to showcase equipment, technology and services for the armies of Australia and the Indo-Asia-Pacific.
