Denel is looking to hire a professional auctioneer for a period of three years, to dispose of moveable and immoveable assets.
In a tender that appeared on Tenderbulletins.co.za on 20 January, Denel said it was seeking “the services of professional, highly competent, well-managed, auctioneer to assist with the disposal of movable and immovable assets, appointment will be as and when required with a sole mandate.
“The proposed Auctioneer must be familiar with the prescribed regulations that governs the disposal of properties and state assets within the public sector including the advertising methods and processes.”
The tender stated that proposals are invited from suitable professional service providers who will be able to dispose of various assets within the Denel Group including Movable and Immovable assets within a maximum period of three (90 days) months and at a selling price that is acceptable to Denel SOC Ltd through an auction.”
A briefing meeting is scheduled for 1 February and the tender closes on 23 February.
