Armscor will be hosting its annual Engineering Day on 14 August in Pretoria under the theme “The impact of the 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR) on Engineering in Defence.”
The Engineering Day will be held at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research’s (CSIR’s) International Convention Centre (ICC).
Presentations will address the Fourth Industrial Revolution, how the defence force can benefit from it and what the consequences are for the defence force if they do not start adopting 4IR technologies or do research into the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

The 2018 edition of the Armscor Engineering Day was themed ‘Engineering in Tough Economic Times: Defence Perspective’. It featured presentations by Armscor, the CSIR, Reutech Radar Systems and Denel, amongst others.
