Below are the official results for South Africa’s parliamentary election released by the Independent Electoral Commission on Saturday.
The ANC was allocated 264 seats in parliament after winning 65.9 percent of the vote. Voters also cast their ballots for nine provincial legislatures in the election held on Wednesday. The ANC won control of eight of South Africa’s nine provinces. The DA won the Western Cape province.
