Liberia’s Sirleaf has over 90 pct of votes: partial count

Liberia’s Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf has won 90.8 percent of the votes counted after results from most of the country’s boycotted presidential election had come in, said the West African state’s election commission.

The election commission said the results were based on returns from 86 percent of polling stations in the country and the turnout was currently around 37.4 percent, Reuters reports.
