Atlantis Aviation and Absolute Aviation have combined their considerable commercial and defence market positions.

Using AAD to showcase their products, Absolute Aviation made its intentions very clear that it is pursuing a strategy to market the Beechcraft range of aircraft aggressively in the sub-Saharan African territory. Absolute Aviation exhibited a large cross-section of Beechcraft products, being the King Air 350 ER, King Air 250, King Air C90GTx and a Bonanza G36, at its static display at Waterkloof Airforce Base.

Absolute Aviation was appointed by the Beechcraft manufacturer as the exclusive distributer for sub-Saharan Africa in April 2011. As a new distributor, a “soft” target was set for the first year by the Beechcraftmanufacturer of one aircraft to be sold; instead, Absolute Aviation took orders for six new King Airs within the first 12 months. Five of these aircraft were sold locally and one was delivered to the Seychelles.

In addition to representing the Beechcraft products in Africa, Absolute Aviation is also very active in the pre-owned aircraft market, as well as in providing consulting services to companies and individuals wishing to acquire a corporate aircraft by providing independent and unbiased advice.

The King Air Aircraft is a low primary and operating cost aircraft used by many Armed Forces for surveillance roles, with up to 80% of recent ER350 production being taken up for outfitting in this operational role.

There are over 7 000 King Air aircraft produced with well-established ownership cost data and logistic support infrastructure available.

The senior management team has decades of combined experience in the aircraft engineering, piloting, aircraft sales and flight operations fields. The process of defining which aircraft best suits a customer’s operation is a specialised task and one which can effectively be undertaken by the team.
