Tetech makes Gripen ground environment work

1719

Black empowerment engineering firm Tetech Projects has been awarded a R197 102 order to repair, service and modify ground support equipment for the SAAB Gripen aircraft that is coming into service with 2 Squadron at AFB Makhado.

The contract follows a similar but larger contract (R744 100) in March last year. The company has expertise in the area and earlier in the decade won a US$650 000 (about R4 million) order under Project Winchester to build and provide all of the ground-support and assembly staging equipment for the BAE Systems Hawk Mk 120 lead-in fighter trainer programme.
