Eurocopter sees civil market recovery in 2012

Eurocopter expects to clinch several orders for 20-30 helicopters by the end of the year and expects a full recovery in the civil market next year, its chief executive said yesterday.

“The market recovery starts to be there, and we still expect a full recovery in 2012,” Lutz Bertling said at the Paris Air Show.

Eurocopter is the world’s largest civil helicopter maker and is owned by European aerospace and defence group EADS.
