Marketing (Pty) Ltd
– is a limited liability company
incorporated in accordance with the laws of
Southern Africa with its registered address
at P.O. Box 12108, Hatfield, 0028, Pretoria,
South Africa and was established in 2000.
IVEMA
is the home of the 21st Century GILA 4x4
Mine Resistant and Ambush Protected Vehicle
Platform.
IVEMA
also provides innovative and specialized
solutions for defence, security and
humanitarian aid clients.
IVEMA
designs, develops and produces vehicles
required for military, public security and
humanitarian aid tasks with a particular
emphasis on mine and ballistic protection.
In late 2005
IVEMA
designed and developed the GILA 4x4 Mine and
Ballistic Protected family of vehicles which
are currently being produced in South Africa
for export . The GILA Armoured Personnel
Carrier and Battlefield Ambulance are
currently in service with African defence
organizations.
IVEMA
has also provided various military and
security organisations with military vehicle
remanufacture solutions, vehicle spares
acquisitions programmes, field equipment
provision for both military and humanitarian
requirements, weapon mount programmes
vehicle technical training programmes,
documentation services for the maintenance
and support of vehicle systems and product
support.
IVEMA
has applied its experience and expertise to
develop vehicle and weapon sub-system design
solutions that have been manufactured
in-conjunction with the client.
The ownership and management of
IVEMA
includes former military officers,
specialiesed military vehicle engineers and
automotive specialists.
IVEMA
is registered with the South African
National Conventional Arms Control Committee
and conducts its trade within the ethos of
international conventional arms controls.
IVEMA
is a founding member of Ngwane Defence (Pty)
Ltd and is regarded as the “military
vehicles division of Ngwane Defence”. |
