Impact of the Networked society shown at AfricaCom

[Johannesburg, 1 November 2011] - Lars Lindén, head of Ericsson Sub-Saharan Africa, will present the role of mobile broadband in Networking Africa on the first day of the main conference at 12.20 pm. In addition, Ericsson will focus on four areas at its demonstration booth. Those are:

Broadband For All

More people in sub-Saharan Africa today connect to Internet using a mobile device than those using a fixed connection; this implies that future access to broadband Internet in the region will be driven by wireless broadband services.
