Eleven new Ebola cases confirmed in DR Congo

Congo confirmed 11 new cases of Ebola in the northwest town Bikoro, a health ministry spokeswoman said, widening an outbreak the World Health Organisation (WHO) believes has already infected 44 people and killed 15.

 

“Very high” Ebola risk in DR Congo – WHO

Democratic Republic of Congo faces a “very high” public health risk from Ebola with the disease confirmed in a big city, the World Health Organization (WHO) said, raising its assessment from “high”.
