Saab awarded SAAF Gripen support contract

SAAF Gripens.Saab has received a contract to support the South African Air Force’s (SAAF’s) fleet of 26 Gripens between November 2017 and February 2020. The contract is worth R314 million and covers airworthiness management, maintenance, repair and overhaul.


Egypt takes delivery of additional Rafales; looks to acquire more

Egyptian Rafales.The Egyptian Air Force (EAF) has received its final three single seat Rafale EM fighters, which arrived from France at the end of November. This comes as Egypt seeks to order additional Rafales from Dassault.
