A modular wire-guided weapon with active/passive onboard terminal guidance and multifrequency onboard sonar that allows for re-attack. The guidance system aboard the sub allows simultaneous guidance against multiple targets with multiple torpedoes in the water.
Standard configuration (Model 44) with four ZnAgO compact batteries is 7m in length. The weapon is powered by a permanent magnet motor. The Model 43 has three batteries, the Model 42 two and Model 41, one. The wake-homing Model 4-LC also features one battery only.
